Negin Saffron and Sargol Saffron are the same in quality and color power but Negin is a bit larger in size, thicker in shape and it more luxury. It is pure and contains stigma without the style and is the most expensive Saffron in the world.  Negin Saffron Size is 1.5 cm. It’s a bit larger than Sargol saffron. This kind of saffron has the highest coloring power (higher than 250 usp) among the other kinds and its volume is higher, too.

Super Negin: the most expensive, rare and the best type of Saffron. Super Negin threads are longer in length and contain no yellow or orange threads. The threads are cut symmetrically and contain no crumbs.

  • Negin Grade A

Sargol Saffron

This grade consists of only dark red stigma tips and has the highest quality compared to the other types. Sargol has a very strong aroma and rich coloring capacity. It is derived from the very tip of the saffron thread.

Sargol Saffron is considered to be high quality due to its lack of Yellow or Orange threads.
Sargol can be easily recognized thanks to its full and deep red color and short threads. It often contains crumbs and broken threads. This kind of saffron has very high coloring power (240 usp or higher).

  • Sargol All-Red Grade AAA
  • Sargol Grade A

Poushal Saffron color is red & yellow but its red color is a lot more. Its Size is 1 to 1.5 cm. It is the cheapest and most commonly sold Saffron type. Its coloring power is about 220 usp.

Available grades are:

  • Pushali Grade A
  • Pushali Grade B
  • Pushali Grade C

Mancha Saffron is like as Pushali saffron, the only different is in yellow part that is more than Pushali saffron and the most buyers of Mancha saffron in Spain.

Bunch Saffron
This grade is relatively low strength grade and consists of red stigmata and amount of yellow style in a bundle. It contains stigma and style. Bunch Saffron Size is 2 to 3 cm. The Red and white part in Bunch saffron is between 70 to 75% and the root part is about 25 to 30 %. The power of color and quality of Bunch saffron is less than other types of saffron.  It is about 190 to 210 USP. Its power aroma is less than Sargol saffron.

Extraction Crocin (Pure crocin)
Crocin of saffron is the pure part of saffron that using in the medical (with 98% concentration) and food industry (with 30-50% concentration).

Saffron powder is prepared by fine grinding of Sargol, Pushal and Bunch parts of the plant. This product has a slightly lighter color compared to Sargol and Pushal and its coloring capacity is obviously less.

Style (Konj)

It is the yellow or white parts of saffron threads which are separated from Red-colored stigma. It is mostly applied for medicinal usages.
