Sargol Saffron
This grade consists of only dark red stigma tips and has the highest quality compared to the other types. Sargol has a very strong aroma and rich coloring capacity. It is derived from the very tip of the saffron thread. Sargol saffron is considered to be high quality due to its lack of Yellow or Orange threads. Sargol can be easily recognized thanks to its full and deep red color and short threads. It often contains crumbs and broken threads. This kind of saffron has very high coloring power (240 usp or higher).
